Based in New York, Moxie Poe (Rita Posillico) is a multi-talented vocalist and instrumentalist, playing piano, guitar and alto saxophone. With influences from Janis Joplin to Tina Turner, The Beatles, Led Zeppellin and blues icons Albert and Freddie King, Moxie Poe's music is reminiscent of times past.

 

Her performance style is electric. She does not miss a beat and turns any room into a party. Performing at iconic venues like Daryl's House, 89 North, The Bitter End, Stereo Garden and The Argyle Theater, Moxie has gained notable recognition throughout the New York music scene.

She has also  had an extensive career in Music Directing, putting up works such as Friends! A Musical Parody and Singfeld! A Musical About Nothing at The Theater Center, Times Squares at The Laurie Beechman Theater, Somehow We Manage at 54 Below and more.

Moxie Poe currently performs with The Bangos, Hot Cake, and Jordan Kahn Orchestra. She teaches lessons for voice, piano and guitar on Long Island and is available for music transcription and music directing.
